Company name changed to Saxonia Franke KG

1992

Company taken over by what later becomes the HIT Groep, the name being changed again to Saxonia Umformtechnik GmbH

1994

Foundation of Saxonia (Malaysia) SDN BHD 
Foundation of Saxonia International

1996

Foundation of Saxonia Hitmetal Asia Ltd., now Saxonia Knitting Parts Asia Ltd.

1998

The company takes over AP Knitting Elements and Bayerische Nadelleistenfabrik
Paul Leistner GmbH

2000

Foundation of Saxonia Knitting Elements Shanghai Co. Ltd.

2004

Saxonia Group is taken over by the KERN-LIEBERS Group of Companies

2005

Saxonia Knitting Elements Shanghai Co. Ltd. integrated into the present-day
KERN-LIEBERS (Taicang) Textile Co. Ltd. and relocated to Taicang, China

2006

The Textiles division splits off to form Saxonia Textile Parts GmbH
